How to use

Step 1: Apply the Metal Detox mask to clean, shampooed hair.
After shampooing, apply the mask evenly to wet hair. For optimal results, use the Metal Detox mask after the Metal Detox shampoo. Distribute the product evenly through the lengths and ends, focusing on the areas that need care most.

Step 2: Twist the hair and leave the mask on.
Twist the hair gently and leave the mask on for 1 minute for a quick conditioning treatment. For deeper hair care, leave the mask on for 15 minutes before rinsing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I purposely waited two weeks to write a review for this product so I could get the full low down and see what it does it my hair after numerous shampoos and conditioners and my god it amazing ,the smell has like a citrusy smell smell which I love and the mask has the same smell but also has a clean scent that is a little more manly I love ,it makes my hair so soft and not frizzy at all ,it makes my blonde more vibrant becase after I use all my products like serums and hairspray o habe a lot to wash out and this got ride of all the products and kept my hair looking blonde and not dull o woud totally recommend this product ,it is so amazing

I am a fan of L’Oréal Professionnel products and regularly use their Vitamino Colour shampoo, conditioner and mask so was excited to try the Metal Detox mask. I hadn't heard of metal detox products so was interested to see how this would improve my hair. The fragrance was nice, and the mask combed nicely through my hair. My hair definitely looked brighter and felt softer I think with ongoing use my blonde hair will definitely be stronger when using in conjunction with the Metal Detox Shampoo. I'll definitely buy these products again.

I have no idea what this did to my hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I tried my Loreal #voxbox yesterday and I was really excited but it really didn't turn out well. My hair now feels kinda like straw, it's insanely frizzy, it's definitely not silky or shiny. Did it take the metals out of my hair? Who knows? Do I like how it feels when I use it? No! Definitely not. My hair is color treated, baby fine, and can definitely be temperamental so maybe it just wasn't made for my hair type. The scent is hard to describe, it's not floral or fruity, more of a fresh, kind of masculine smell, and I can still smell it heavily so if you're against really scented products, this isn't for you. I don't know this just wasn't for me.

Miracle worker for my hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful mask for my hair. The area I live in has very hard water and it has its effect on my natural blonde, dry and frizzy hair. Especially during the colder months my hair color looks dull, and my hair is extra dry. After using this hair mask for the first time I could already see a difference in the appearance of my hair. I apply it onto my clean wet hair and leave it on for just one minute and then rinse. My hair feels so hydrated and there is a nice improvement in the dullness of my hair. My blonde hair color looks revitalized. I love how easy it is to implement this mask into my weekly routine. A miracle worker that I highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing hair mask that does not leave your feeling greasy and weighed down which I have found in the past with other hair masks. You don't have to leave it on for long which is great so you can use it as part of your regular weekday morning routine. You only have to use it once a week but if you had really damaged hair you could use it twice a week. I massaged it not just on to the ends of my hair but also on to my scalp and gave myself a good head massage, this helped my dry itchy scalp that I have sometimes had and it did not leave my hair greasy which can be the case with masks when you put them on to your scalp.

I've used L’Oréal products in the past on my hairdresser’s recommendation and was keen to try the new Professionnel Metal Detox Mask. As with other L’Oréal products, both the packaging and product appear to be high quality. The texture was a bit rich for my fine hair, so I would use this once a week or as required. It does feel like a bit of a treat when you have the time! I haven't been using it long so I don’t know whether it has reduced hair breakage, but my hair did feel shiny and nourished after use.

I am a Salon manager and Stylist of almost 2 decades. I have seen things from bordering ridiculous to genius tech. Whether it be product or tool. This mask is great, requiring only a minute , but it works hard in that minute! The mask feels soft and gentle but clearly the genuine salon-grade ingredients are there. My hair looks healthier and shinier after only a few uses, which I’ve never seen with blonde or colour treated specific products before ,and I am really looking forward to the continued improvements with ongoing use. The shine from this product is AMAZING and I’ve received so many compliments since I started using it. A little bit of this product is all you need, I leave it in for 3-5 minutes and then rinse out. There’s no heavy residue left, my hair is left fresh and shiny and lasts longer between washes than normal! The product doesn’t have a strong perfume either, which I love. I’ve been converted by this hair mask - I just love how it leaves my hair feeling! I’ve also been using it on my daughters hair which usually gets quite knotty and I’ve noticed a difference!

The texture is a so smooth and shires through the hair like silk. I love that the instructions only say to leave for one minute and amazingly even just after a minute you instantly feel a difference. My hair has suffered from the hard water in my area. I used the mask after the shampoo and my hair was left feeling like I just left the salon full of life and healthy. This hair mask didn’t leave my hair oily or heavy. The smell of this mask is so good it almost has a masculine sent but subtle it is so worth trying out.

Since using the Metal Detox Mask I have had a marked improvement in the condition of my crazy hair. I shampoo my hair firstly with the Metal Detox shampoo and then put the mask onto my hair, the mask has an immediate soft silky feel which I leave in for about 3 to 5 minutes. The colour in my hair seems to look more vibrant and shiny for longer also leaving it more manageable and I do not have to use as many styling products. I highly recommend this product and will definitely use this on a regular basis as it is a truly is a professional product.

I do love a hair mask as my hair can be quite dry and brittle from being bleached. I noticed after using this hair mask a few times that my hair instantly felt healthy and shiny. My blonde hair looks lovely without any brassiness, which means I won’t have to use a purple shampoo all the time as that can cause my hair to feel dry. Only after use of 4 days my hair looks refreshed and the metal detox shampoo has actually made my hair colour more vibrant. Hopefully this means I can keep my colour for longer and space hair colouring appointments further apart to keep my hair healthier. Not sure if it the metal detox shampoo is meant to but my hair definitely you feels more voluminous/thicker and less fragile. This could only be described as caring for your coloured hair at its finest. I have dry, coloured hair and who knew about metal buildup from hair colour. Thick and creamy and I believe in a decent two finger scoop. I left the mask on my hair for approx 3-5minutes then rinsed out. A professional no nonsense product that left my hair feeling soft and clean. I was keen to find out how my hair would feel and look after a week. Well it is still fairly soft, very clean and my colour has a shine to it.

I recently stripped all the colour out of my hair and it's been needing some TLC. Much like the matching shampoo, a little does go a long way, leaving the hair soft and shiny, with a delicate fragrance and not weighed down. I did find I liked it better when I thinned the mask down a bit with water for the majority of my hair and only used the full concentration on just my ends. It's definitely pricey for the amount you get, but if you have fine, thin hair then you won't need much and it should last a long time.

I have bleach blonde hair, and I definitely always try to look after my hair and do the right thing by it but this just took my routine to the next level. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure what to expect when using L’Oréal Professionnel Metal Detox Mask, but it is a great product. I applied a $.50 piece amount of this product to my hair after shampooing twice with the same shampoo. I left it on for is long as possible while I wash my body and face so probably for about 3 to 5 minutes. When I rinsed it out I felt my hair was really manageable, it was easy to detangle and felt soft. I really like the benefits of this hair mask is so many products on the market will load your hair up with a different middle elements to provide a fake sense of strength and softness. I will definitely repurchase

This mask though has perfect thick consistency so you don’t need to use a ton and a little goes a long way. It really penetrates into the hair. My blowout after I used all the products came out better than it ever does and is already lasting longer than normal and I truly believe it’s because my hair has been reset from the metals! As a professional hair stylist. I can say this mask really works and my hair feels totally protected. I would use this product on all hair types and am going to be using it as an add on service for my clients. Love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really please with this product. The smell isn't super strong but it is there, personally I prefer strong smelling products. The consistency is thick and a little does go a long way. It has a great smoothness to it when it's in the hair, but what I really like is how that Smoothness stays after its been washed out. Many products I've tried before haven't had this. My hair is naturally curly and it's soaked up all the goodness from this mask. I used it after doing a super cleanse on my head (including use of ACV) so prior to putting it on my hair was super super dry! But now it soft soft soft!!! Really happy. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried so many hair masks over the years with little luck finding one that gave the result on my thin blonde hair that I liked. L’Oreal Metal Detox Mask is so far best! It was a delight to apply and leave on for a few mins (kinda felt luxurious!), it is light weight and smells divine. I massage the mask a bit and left in for around 10 mins before combing it though my hair. There weren’t many knots and comb went through smoothly. When I washed the mask out my hair was light weight and very shiny. I also noticed it was a bit brighter which surprised me. I will keep using this product for sure, highly recommend!

Having been using L'Oreals Metal Detox Mask, I have noticed that my highlighted hair is feeling cleaner and not as dry. I generously lathered my hair with the mask and let my hair air dry after rinsing it out. There's plenty of product to do lots of self-care days and I'm excited to see the condition of my hair after using this regularly. It feels like a hairdressers 'wash & condition' that I did at home for a fraction of the price! The packaging is very simple but very professional and has that 'hairdressers feel' to it. Lovely smelling mask without being overpowering. A little product goes a long way.

Just like my skin, my hair needs changes often with the environmental changes and stress. My hair is used to the instant gratification of other hair masks, but then the benefits can be temporary. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t tried a L’Oréal product in years so I was interested to see how well it worked. I’ve never heard of using products to do a metal detox on your hair until now. I get my hair regularly colored in a salon for context with my hair. This mask worked for making my hair feel soft and nice. The smell was ok. I didn’t love it, but didn’t hate it either. I don’t quite understand what the metal detox was supposed to do or how to tell if it worked to be honest. I felt like the products did well on my hair and I didn’t run into any big issues, but I also wasn’t “wowed” by it either. For the higher price point for a drug store brand I didn’t feel like it was really worth it.

It was a huge adjustment for me as i have very auburn/red hair. As with any colour especially lightening, i did experience some damage. So i was very keen to try something to soothe and nourish my hair within my existing routine. I tried this once a week and loved the results. It gave my hair a nice freshness and smoothed out some of the damaged/broken pieces. The smell was joyous as well, and i would reach for this again. I am not sure on the price, i think overall its overpriced for a supermarket brand, but i am sure people would see its worth once they try it.

The worst hair product I have ever tried

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is long and wavy. Before using this product my hair was soft and very beautiful. I was given samples of the shampoo and the mask. After I used these products, my hair has become thick, dull, not flexible at all, hard and freezing. The problem is that even if I used another shampoo and mask after I used these products, these bad consequences of these products still remain. Does anyone know how long it takes for the bad consequences of these products to recede and for my hair to stop being so ugly? I wish I could turn back the time and I would never have used these products. This is the first negative review I have made in my life for any product, service, place etc.

How did I now knew about this before?! Anyway, I've been coloring my hair since I was in college and it does makes your hair dull and frizz. So I've used a lot of hair treatments in the past and yet mg hair still stays dry. I was a little skeptical when I tried this product, thinking it won't do anything, but I was wrong! After using it for a couple times a week, I've seen a glow in my hair. It's more nourished and vibrant esp with hair color dye treatmen. I wouod highly recommend this product. Spend more to take care of your hair and you'll never regret it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Admittedly I have never used a hair mask so to try and compare this one wouldn’t be fair. But I can say I loved it! And will be adding a weekly mask to my self care routine from now on. The texture is great, a slight fresh smell that reminds me of being at the hairdresser and most importantly does not leave hair greasy. My hair was super soft and shiny - which does mean it was a lot harder to style ( I have short, naturally wavy hair so it did go a little poofy!) but nothing a hair straightener couldn’t fix. After only one use I can’t notice a huge difference, but I’m definitely going to keep using it and am very interested in seeing the results after more long term use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weirdly enough the combination of this mask and the Metal Detox Shampoo has helped my natural curl/wave return. I was sent this for free to try from Influenster, and never would have picked it up myself, but it was pretty good. My hair feels thicker, softer, and has way more curl than before. I live in an old mill building in an old end of time, so our water is super metal-heavy and hard. This has stripped all that out of my hair and not ruined my color. Worth trying, just wishing it wasn’t quite so expensive (although you don’t need a ton - I usually wash my hair twice a week and use this one of those times).

Hair definitely felt smooth and silky after using it few times. The only thing is that the instructions says to use mask for 5 minutes but you definitely have to keep it in longer to get full results. 5 minutes didn't do much for me. When I kept it on for 30 minutes i definitely saw better results. The scent of the shampoo is very strong and manly. I didn't like that 😕 but overall product worked well on my hair. I m not sure or didn't do detail search on if it really removes the metal from your hair.

After a few weeks of use my feedback is very positive. This mask is very effective, the texture is rich and creamy. It is enriched with glicoamine and ionene, which provides fiber protection. From the very first use I was stunned to find how soft and shiny my hair immediately was. After drying my hair, it normally feels quite dry (the joys of colouring right?!), but this made my fair feel like it had been professionally blowdried. The texture is quite thick but melts into the hair flawlessly. Yes, it's just shampoo and conditioner but metal detox? Why would I need this? I mentioned it to my hair gal and she got excited once we realized it was from the L’Oréal pro line. I did some research and while I knew that there were low levels of metal in our water, I did not know it would affect my hair. It helps keep my color bright and reduces breakage. Now... a layperson like myself can't really tell all of that BUT what I can tell you is that I LOVE the smell of this and the way my hair feels afterwards! It's a great treatment!

Along with the shampoo this is a great weekly hair care product. My hair is soft and has shine after using and I’ve also had a comment on how nice my hair looks. I also can see a change in the colour so it must be removing some build up. The thing I find hard to use with the mask is the container, trying to hold it, scoop some out, put on hair and then put the lid back on all while being in the shower. This is the same with all masks though. My hair is medium blonde, fine and wavy and I’ve coloured my hair all my life. I would purchase this product again as weekly hair are.

After using both these products my hair felt light, clean but not dry and I did notice a better shine from my hair, which is not always easy for dyed blonde hair. In the future I would used this treatment along side the shampoo as a weekly treat as I felt it did clean all the build out from my cheaper products throughout the week. The product itself did feel like a salon treatment. This is something I would purchase and recommend to a friend Although it is a little more expensive that products I normally buy but I do feel the results are worth it.

Smells nice and didn’t take very much product and it didn’t dry out my hair! It must have removed quite a bit of heavy metals because when I got done using this and the shampoo, my hair was so soft and when I colored my hair the next day, ha ha I was really hoping that it would help the color stay in longer and so far it has been two weeks And it looks like I did it yesterday! I highly recommend this! After some online research it looks like this should be used probably once every other month. Especially if you have hard water.
